Bitcoin Dominicana is a community in the Dominican Republic focused on three things: Bitcoin education, in-person meetups and adoption by local businesses.

What we do • Bitcoin Thursdays (Jueves de Bitcoin): free, hands-on sessions in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, from the basics to self-custody and Lightning payments. • Meetups: a friendly place to ask questions and meet other people using Bitcoin in the DR. • Merchant onboarding: we help local businesses start accepting Bitcoin and Lightning, step by step. • Visitors welcome: traveling to the DR? Join a session and discover the island through its Bitcoin community.
