Join us for a fireside chat exploring the inevitable financialization of Bitcoin and how Bitcoin is set to penetrate every corner of the traditional financial world. From asset management and wealth management to corporate treasuries, capital markets, structured products and banking, we’re witnessing the creation of Bitcoin-native versions of financial products and strategies that have existed for decades.
🔸 Richard Byworth has a background in traditional capital markets and asset management. He is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at BYZ Partners, Board Advisor at XCE - Connecting Excellence, Board Member at Relai, Advisor at JAN3 and board advisor to Connecting Excellence, UK based bitcoin treasury company. He has been at the forefront of bringing Bitcoin into corporate treasury strategies, capital markets and institutional investment.
🔸 Peter Lane started his career in traditional wealth management in the City of London on the very day Lehman Brothers collapsed in 2008. After years in the traditional wealth management world, he has spent the last few years bridging the gap between established finance and Bitcoin. He was also co-founder of Bitcoin Life and the Jacobi Bitcoin ETF, Europe’s first regulated spot Bitcoin ETF.
Expect a candid, forward-looking conversation about how Bitcoin is moving from the margins of finance into the very heart of the traditional financial system, followed by an open Q&A with the audience.
