Six days of AI workshops on the Bitcoinest island in the world.
Learn how software actually gets built, build it with AI, and leave with something live on a real address. Aug 17–22, inside Próspera on Roatán, where Bitcoin is legal tender.
0.5 bootcamp, 0.5 pirate retreat. Everyone teaches, everyone learns.
🧠 Why this exists
AI changed who gets to build software. Most people haven't caught up yet, because the gap was never the coding. It was git, architecture, deployment, and the twenty small things nobody bothers to teach. This week closes that gap.
🛤️ Two tracks
Build Your Thing. Your website, your app, your minigame. The idea that's been sitting in a notes app for two years. Start from zero, leave with it live.
Ship for Roatán. Solve a real problem on the island. 60+ merchants take sats and there's no good way to find them. The island runs on rides nobody coordinates. Real users, right outside the door.
Same workshops, same room. The track is what you build, not how much help you get. You can switch.
👩💻 Who it's for
Capable beginners who want to learn fast. Founders and operators tired of waiting on a developer. Developers who want to get properly good at agentic workflows. Anyone with an idea and no route to building it.
No coding background needed. We start from git and architecture basics. Roughly half the room won't code on arrival, on purpose. Solo participants are the norm.
🏗️ The week
Mornings are workshops and mentor sessions. Afternoons are open build time with three teachers floating. Every day ends with a redeploy window and a recap where everyone shows their URL.
Day 1 (Aug 17) — Vibecoding foundations. Agents, not chats. File-based workflows. Choose your stack. → a live website
Day 2 (Aug 18) — Understanding software. Architecture, frontend, backend, database, APIs, git. Build a minigame. → a working app you understand
Day 3 (Aug 19) — Open source & AI collaboration. GitHub flow, forks, pull requests, multiple agents, Nostr identity. → a public repo and your first contribution
Day 4 (Aug 20) — Deploy & release. Bitcoin integration, domains, env variables, secrets, testing, polish. → a live production app
Day 5 (Aug 21) — Bitcoin Infinity Day. Relaxed cowork, beach, party.
Day 6 (Aug 22) — Boat trip, business networking lunch, and Demo Day in the evening: pitch and vote.
🤖 What makes it different
Small group, 15–30 people. Everyone knows everyone by day two. Taught, not just hosted. Three teachers, a real curriculum. You deploy on day one and every day after, so a bad final day can't wipe out your week. Soft hackathon: learning first, competition second. One small symbolic prize for the best local-impact project. Venues open 24/7. Build at 2am if that's when you're sharp.
🌴 Location
Próspera, a private jurisdiction on Roatán. Bitcoin is the official unit of account and most businesses accept it. Around 100 long-term residents, a Bitcoin Center, and a builder community that's still here after the event ends. Starlink and local fibre. Accommodation inside or near Próspera, kitchen in every apartment, some group meals included.
